F2F

What does F2F stand for?

Face to face

When someone says they want to meet F2F (face to face), it means they want to meet IRL instead of online or over the phone. You're most likely to encounter this acronym while chatting with co-workers or friends who want to see your smiling face. (Or just find long email threads tedious.)

If you don't relish the prospect of meeting F2F, you can propose a video or chat meeting as an alternative. Some tasks, however, are just more efficiently and effectively accomplished in person.

Example

I like to talk to people f2f, rather than on the phone

Sometimes, F2F meetings can be intense
