DT

1. What does DT stand for in StarCraft 2?

Dark Templar

StarCraft 2 players use DT to refer to the Dark Templar, a dangerous Protoss unit. The DT is a permanently-cloaked assassin, which opponents can see only when it is in range of a Detector (a unit or structure that has the Detection ability).

Protoss players unlock the DT after building a Dark Shrine. They can then use the DT's cloaking and teleportation abilities to sneak behind enemy lines and damage their production and supply facilities.

Example
